Conservation - Virtual Biodiversity Museum of Cyprus

This part of the Virtual Biodiversity Museum of Cyprus presents some of the efforts that have been or are being implemented in the framework of biodiversity conservation in Cyprus, raising of public awareness in such issues and promoting environmental education in the island. So far, a large number of projects have been carried out related to the conservation of various flora/fauna species and habitat types (in various instances they haven't been presented as should have).

The Virtual Biodiversity Museum of Cyprus presents here some of these projects (the title of the project and its website if available), implemented by various organisations in Cyprus and abroad. Our goal is the gathering of all the feedback on the efforts that took place or are still running regarding biodiversity, conservation and awareness with the consent of the respective authorities, aiming to their presentation and promotion. This catalogue is dynamic and is expected to be continuously updated with new projects that come into our knowledge.
